Michael Scherer is the owner and CEO of DreamVizion Entertainment. He graduated from Millikin University with a degree in Commercial Music. He has been an active and successful member in the music industry for many years now, and has arranged music for many artists on major record labels. Some of these projects and artists include: The Christmas to Remember (EMI Record Label); Adrian B. King: You’re Awesome! (Sony BMG Record Label); Angelica Black (AIO Productions); The Awakening (DreamVizion Productions).

Scherer has been actively producing commercials since he was a senior in high school. He is the Director of the Fine Arts Program through Reasonable Service in Decatur, IL. An active music teacher and advocate for entrepreneurial development in high school students in central Illinois, Scherer is a well known and respected community leader.

Scherer has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Central America and the Caribbean, performing at prestigious jazz festivals such as The North Sea Jazz Festival in The Netherlands, and The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. His jazz trio – The Half Note Trio, was recently featured as the special guest for the Central Illinois Jazz Festival.

Garrett, Zach

Zach comes to DreamVizion with a fire and passion for making great music. He comes with a love of all music, but his biggest influences come from the rock/pop and country genres. He is a graduate of Millikin University with a B.M. in Commercial Music. Along with his duties at DreamVizion, Zach is a minister, church musician, youth pastor, substitute school teacher, and private tutor for piano and percussion.

Zach is constantly writing music. He has written numerous praise songs for his church as well as numerous arrangements for that church’s choir (including his Christmas jazz cantata). Zach is always ready to collaborate with other writers and has completed hit tracks with such writers as Joy Clark, Hannah Lake, and Michael Scherer. DVE is excited about this relationship and we expect nothing but greatness from this young man.

Zach Garrett Expected to Sign Publishing Deal with DVE

DreamVizion Entertainment has recently acquired the rights to Michael Scherer’s entire working song catalog. Scherer’s expansive music library spans multiple genres including: jazz, pop, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, electronica and orchestral music. The songs in Scherer’s 150 +song catalog are currently being used in various films, commercials and independent recording projects.
